Sheaf Bank
Business
Park

Once an agricultural and horticultural tool factory built in the 19th century, Sheaf Bank Business Park is now home to over 60 different businesses. Our tenants vary from guitar makers to archeologists, furniture designers to e-commerce sites, therapists to removals and storage, and even a CrossFit gym.

Sheaf Bank reflects the heritage of Sheffield’s industrial past, while embracing its future by working with our tenants to create a space for them to thrive and grow.

It’s a bit of a hidden gem.  Safe and secure, but with an eclectic mix of businesses and people.  We love that there is so much history here too, oh and we like to feed the ducks from the window.

A good thing about Sheaf Bank is being able to socialise with the other tenants (at The Sheaf!) as everyone is super kind and helpful so we're very pleased to call Sheaf Bank our home.

We’ve been tenants at Sheaf bank for over 6 years, we love the estate, it’s in a great location, it’s secure and safe, a great working community and very well maintained by the landlord, who are responsive, helpful and good to deal with.

We became tenants in 2018 after searching all around town for premises from which to start our business. From the first meeting we found that the management team were friendly, accommodating and easily approachable, whilst also being highly professional and efficient when dealing with any issues that may arise. The site itself has bags of character, provides great access to the city and due to the nature of the site, is extremely secure. Combined with a wide variety of trades and tenants, it really makes Sheaf Bank a unique working environment.

I'm a very happy tenant down at Sheaf Bank Business Park. The site is kept clean and tidy. The toilets are always kept clean and serviced well. The security is really good with cameras around and also secure gates, which gives piece of mind. I would not hesitate to recommend Sheaf Bank.

After looking at many different spaces around Sheffield we found Sheaf Bank to be the most accessible and the most affordable. Moving to Sheaf Bank helped us quickly outgrow the 600sq ft office we originally rented and move onto a 1,600sq ft industrial unit. Dealing with Josie and the team was a pleasure, and they are always on-hand to assist with any of our needs. As we continue to grow, we can see further space requirements cropping up within Sheaf Bank.

Wessex Archaeology have been based at Sheaf Bank Business Park since 2009. The estate is in a great location and its historic origins as a shovel works is very appropriate for our work. There is a range of office types and storage space, which provides good flexibility for when we need additional space. The estate team are always helpful and act promptly if needed and we look forward to the next nine years at Sheaf Bank.

Wessex Archaeology have been tenants at Sheaf Bank since 2009 and over the years we have expanded into units on three floors in the Riverside block, as well as two compounds for storage of vehicles and equipment. The central location suits us very well with lots of staff being able to walk and cycle into work and meetings in Sheffield just a short hop on our office e-bike or even a walk away. There is also good access to lots a lovely food places when we fancy something more interesting for lunch or an office trip to one of the cafe’s. I love the historic industrial feel, yet we are only strides away from the park for those that are seeking a lunchtime stroll or for some of our staff a run! Any facility presents challenges at times and as facilities manager it is essential to have a good relationship with the estate management team.  I can honestly say the team here are a pleasure to deal with and it feels like I have an extended team. Many of the contractors the estate use have become trusted allies in helping us extend and improve our offices and facilities. I love the history and unique nature of the buildings and the amazing variety of trades and business’s on the estate, where else can you find archaeologist, welders, joiners, marketeers, care organisations to medieval martial arts and much more all under one roof!! There are lots of fab and interesting people and activities and a sense of community which I love.

As a small but growing business with its roots in Sheffield, we were looking for something that’s actually very hard to find: a workspace that meets our practical needs but also enriches our working life; something more than a soulless ‘unit’. At Sheaf Bank we found a space full of character and history and we’ve been able to build something here that we’re proud of. It’s a place we’re happy to work in every day.
